It was great to hear from you. I only started looking for my family history when I retired. I find it very fascinating and sad at the same time, sad because I find people that are my ancestors and I know very little about them.
Benjamin Franklin and Sophia Newham had the following children:-

Clara Alice (my grandmother) born Mount McDonald (New South Wales, Australia) 5th October, 1882 -died Bathurst New South Wales 1966. she married Michael James Maloney in 1900 he was born Brown's Creek New South Wales 17th July 1876.

United States is probably like Australia, places change over a hundred years.. The old graves may be deteriorated. I will keep in touch with new information I might find.
